As a Senior Community Finance Loan Advisor at Aviva, I worked with clients through the whole lending process. I assessed eligibility and affordability, prepared and submitted applications, dealt with lender queries and supported each client right through to settlement. More recently, as a Financial Mentor with The Salvation Army, I've helped individuals and whānau build realistic budgets, negotiate with creditors and take back control of their finances.

My approach is simple: listen first, then advise. I take the time to understand your goals, income, deposit, spending and long-term plans. Then I recommend a loan that is approved and also fits the life you want to live. I believe the right mortgage is one you can comfortably afford, not just the biggest one a bank will offer.
